Takeaways from Milo Wood's GIP Capstone Presentation: Self Help Graphics and the Art Youth Committee Housing Rights Video Project

       I really enjoyed listening to this presentation and learning about something I would say I was relatively aware of, but didn’t really have a deep understanding of. I think I have come away from this presentation with a much stronger understanding of gentrification and how it negatively impacts communities. With respect to Milo’s specific project, I think it is a really unique and creative way to both help combat the issue of gentrification and encourage kids to get involved with art. Overall I was impressed by Milo's commitment and dedication towards this project.
